Torie is a fantastic support for any soon-to-be parents. My husband and I learned so much and felt incredibly motivated for the birth of our first child. We were able to put into practise the techniques and tips learned on the course during the labour and, while things didn't quite go to plan (or the multiple birth plans we wrote!!), we were able to remain calm and in control of the experience. What's more, I am able to look back really positively on the birth - something I never thought I would be able to say!

From the Birther - Lianne - I attended Torie’s kinship hypnobirthing course in July 2022.
I felt very anxious about giving birth prior to the course and after speaking with my husband we decided to try the course as it seemed very suitable for us.
I’m so happy we did go for it because I feel totally at ease with the thought of labour now.
Not only does Torie teach you how to hypnobirth but we also learnt a lot of the science behind birthing. It was really fascinating, informative and creative!
My favourite parts of the course were learning how the body works to push out your baby e.g. all the hormones involved and the lovely affirmation boards we got to make, which I will be taking with me into my chosen birthing place to remind me of my most favourite affirmations and to keep me grounded and in controls.

Doing the full hypnobirthing course with Tori was one of the best decisions I have made throughout my pregnancy. I went into the course feeling completely clueless about birth and definitely a little scared of several aspects of it but even after just the first session I felt like I had gained a lot of knowledge and felt a lot calmer about the whole experience. Now we have completed the course I can honestly say I’m feeling very powerful and excited for birth and also ready to take on whatever turns that it might take. My husband also feels a lot more involved, knows all the ways he can help and the role he needs to take on throughout our birth which has brought us closer as a birthing team. The atmosphere, location and all the other lovely mums-to-be on the course all helped the whole process feel warm and homely. I can’t recommend doing a hypnobirthing course at Kinship enough, if you’re considering it just do it, you won’t regret it!
