Booked for my wedding. It was on a hot day in June, AC was leaking in the room where guests were situated. The manager was extremely rude to my brother who tried to ask her to manage this and kept responding with ‘nothing I can do’. Head of events promised bridal room would be completely refurbished by the time of my wedding - complete lie and nobody communicated this with me. Then proceeded to tell me that it was not part of the package and they were offering it for free since it was not refurbished (which was a complete lie and I still have this in writing, price I paid was for the refurbished room included). Told me table linen was part of my package, then told me it was not and it was a mistake. Definitely do not recommend, especially for a wedding day, purely on the basis of staff being unhelpful, dishonest and rude.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with live classical music being played in the background. Such a wonderful atmosphere and the grounds are beautiful! They even have a swing you can go on which some children in our family loved! A perfect afternoon out with the family.

We held our daughter’s wedding at Prested Hall on the 4th June 2021, a beautiful Country House Hotel venue.
The customer service was great from the first contact to end of the wedding, absolutely brilliant. Postponed for a year due to Covid with the terms kept as originally agreed. Some changes were made due to only 30 people being able to attend and other Covid restrictions but this did not detract from having a brilliant day, even though it was the only rainy day in the middle of a hot and sunny two weeks!
Gemma our “organiser” was faultless in everything we needed or asked, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive, polite and engaging without being intrusive. The wedding breakfast was great with everyone commenting on the standard of the food and service, so complements again to the staff and chefs.
The bride & groom were very pleased with their choice of venue, the ambience and staff just made wedding their day superb.
We stayed the night in a comfortable room with a nice served breakfast. Guests can use the Gym, sauna and swimming pool in the health centre free of charge and stroll around 75 acres if they wished
A really nice place for a wedding or that special occasion, totally recommended.
Thanks again to Gemma and staff for making our daughter’s wedding a memorable occasion.

So nice to be back for a birthday treat. The delicious afternoon tea. They also do a gentlemans one. Beautiful venue, lovely staff, yummy food. We also had the unicorn prosecco. Very nice.

A little gen in Essex. We needed a short break and found Prested Hall. A lovely room with very comfortable bed, TV, chairs, desk, well stocked hospitality tray and an enormous bathroom with separate bath and shower.
When you walk in you are firstly met by the smell of fresh flowers. All the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
We used the pool, sauna and steam room that were included and again of a high quality.
Breakfast was cooked to order as well as cereals and yoghurt etc. A good choice from full English, Veggie alternative or lighter bites!
Well done! I highly recommend and will certainly visit again, and hopefully get a room with a wider view. A beautiful place!

Words just cannot simply express enough our gratitude to each and every one of you who had played a huge part in the most memorable part of our lives.We held our wedding at your venue and it is actually us who feel extremely lucky to have chosen to hold our wedding day there.For the entire duration of our stay there, but in particular our wedding day, the service was just ‘PERFECT’ and this was because all of you had played a massive part in this.Not only was the venue beautifully breath-taking, but all of you staff members were FANTASTIC.All of our guests had actually remarked on the exceptional service & friendliness too. Each and every one of you are all a huge credit to ‘Prested Hall’ and to all of the couples out there who have also been fortunate enough to have held their wedding day there too.The service was impeccable. All of you had went the extra mile and it was clearly genuine and sincere. It is evident that you guys genuinely care very much to ensure that the newlyweds and their guests have the best day possible. The care and attention shown towards the guests is second to none. All of our family and friends were truly looked after in the best possible way. Whatever it cost us for the time spent at Prested Hall meant nothing, as what we had received was PRICELESS.You guys will remain forever in our hearts, photos and videos but most importantly forever in our fond memories of the best day of our lives.

Had a night away here with the family. Easy to find and set in lovely grounds. As it was really quiet when we stayed ,we really enjoyed the comfy lounges. The food at dinner and breakfast was wonderful and the menu catered for a gluten free diet. Staff were friendly too.
