The Salvation Army Community Church (Faraday Road) is your local place of Worship with TWO Religious Services on Sundays
(11 a.m. & 6 p.m.) , Both of which offer a friendly, warm welcome to All & are led by a Very knowledgeable & Dedicated Corp Officer. Worshipping God through Singing (traditional/modern Songs), Bible Readings, friendly discussion & Prayers.
The A.M. Worship is the quieter Service, While the Evening Worship offers the same as the A.M. but with a higher attendance & an Atmosphere of Peace, Joy, Compassion & Honesty, All with a Cuppa & some delicious homemade cake. There's no Judgement or Animosity between each person, Wether they are Lifelong Worshippers or Those who are just starting out on their own Spiritual Path. You're Guaranteed to leave with a smile a blessing & maybe New friends. Come along & join us.
On a Saturday morning we have a Prayer Meeting in the back hall. This is a very Powerful & Inspiring Spirital Hour in which to share your own Prayers, Worries & Thanks to the Lord & as a Regular, I'd Highly Recommend it.
Alongside the Sunday Services & Prayer, The Church offers much more including A WeeklyBible Study Group where the Bible is explored Passage by Passage & in much more detail, We have A Luncheon Club with Real, Homemade 2 Course meals & always good Conversation (Wed p.m.).
Also on a Wednesday morning is the Extremely Friendly, Relaxed & Fun "Knit & Knatter" A Group that gives you the opportunity to Knit & Crochet with like-minded people. Of course, As its a Craft Group, Just about ANY craft is welcome & we're always looking for new ideas.
We run A Sunday School for Younger People, A Foodbank, A Cloth Nappy group, Youthclub & more.
You are so welcome to Pop in (no need to book anappointment!!) & say Hello & chat with all the Friendly people who run it, Even just for some advice. And if the door is locked, just ring the Bell.
If you have any Ideas or thinking of starting up your own Community Group (Or maybe even a Choir!!), Give us a Call/Pop in & spend time in God's House.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
God Bless.

I visited this place when there was a repair "cafe". The whole experience was that of helpfulness and pleasant attitudes from everyone we encountered. I didn't get my equipment repaired but I enjoyed just being around some special people. The feeling we got was that everyone is important and some of those important people sometimes need help.
