GR First has been my home church for a few years now. Pastors Sam and Brenda are amazing leaders for the congregation and I cannot be more grateful for them and all that they do. The messages each Sunday are truly God given and full of scripture.
This church is full of opportunities to grow, and they help to foster and encourage relationships in all ministries. I was able to get connected in Tech and Young Adults, and now I have even found myself working here in the Tech Department.
I have nothing but love for this church. <3

Best church around! I’ve been here my whole life and love it! The messages are relevant and worship’s incredible. It may be a larger church but it doesn’t feel like it! Being involved, it’s so easy to get connected and find your place. I absolutely love Grand Rapids First and am happy to call it my home.

GR First is good soil. Pastor Sam is bold yet funny with his sermons. Worship is powerful and you sense the presence of the Holy Spirit. The people are so kind and the community of believers is so encouraging. Check out Young Marrieds if you’re newly married. No church like GR First!
