The role that Community Base plays within the voluntary sector in Brighton and the surrounding area is absolutely invaluable, yet goes largely without mention. Community Base provides exactly that, a base, from which so many vital organisations operate and benefit from, firstly there are the reduced costs that come with shared, centralised and managed resources and then there is the increased pool of knowledge and experience that comes with a network of organisations and people as diverse as this. Then there is the role they play as a point of reference, signposting and safeguarding service users and the general public. Brighton is a better place because of Community Base.
