Didn't go for a cricket match, went to see the superb Manchester Ska Foundation band play in a marquee attached to the club house. Great night with a brilliant atmosphere with a full dance floor and everyone enjoying themselves. Pleased that they had a decent cask ale on as well. Interestingly, right next door is a Neolithic henge known as the bull ring, a large circular earthwork with two barrows next to it.

Dove Holes Cricket Club is a warm, friendly and welcoming place. Whether it's Cricket at a weekend or one of the numerous live music acts hosted at the ground this club really has become a beacon of activity especially for the local villagers. The newly developed pavilion offers tea and coffee facilities as well as a well varied and exceptionally priced bar. There are numerous screens covering live sport, a pool table and darts board.
