AVOID this 'care' home at all costs. 3rd of April 2024 my poor nana had yet another fall, didn't even let us know. Myself and my sister turned up to take her out to lunch as the owner had banned my sister from visiting because she asked about a few things in her bedroom as she works in care and they didn't like it as their equipment etc is out of date. I had my phone nearly knocked out of hand whilst trying to call for an ambulance because they thought it was better to wait for a gp to phone even though that could have taken all day.... She had a raging infection and a queried broken hip... We had to put a safeguarding up against them. Fast forward to Sunday the 21st April - she's back in hospital with a broken hip and the surgeon believes it's a month old which takes it back to that home - I knew they'd done something to her!!!!!!!
The owner even phoned the police trying to say myself and my sister had broken into the care home even though you have to be let in and sign the book lol.

You always go with you gut!

avoid this care home, my grandma was visiting her brother and after a disagreement with the owner, she was dragged by her legs out of the home by two ‘carers’ and left outside the home in a terrible state. of you can find somewhere else, do! awful people

Maureen and Charlie Wheelwright have sent a letter as they are not computer savvy, requesting we post on their behalf. This will be scanned to our Facebook page to confirm authentication. We cannot fault any aspect of our Care with either branch as we have stayed in both. Absolute value for money in this stunning building (£600) with care and food second to none. Thank you for everything you have done to make us feel at home comfortable safe and happy together, we have been happy here, we are now moving out of area, to stay with close friends in a purpose built extension with Carers. Without a doubt the best Care Homes we have ever stayed in.

My mum needed permanent full-time care as she was no longer able to look after herself at home after a traumatic couple of years for her. I visited a number of local care homes which more or less were the same but Feng Shui House stood out head and shoulders above all the others and is frankly in a different league. For me, the most important thing is the quality of care she gets and it is of the highest order. All the staff are brilliant. Not a lot more I can say really.

Very poor food given to residents for a very large price prisoners are looked after better fantastic staff try their best very poorly run buy managerial staff and a lot of cutting corners I wouldn't let my dog stay here never mind my loved ones ?
