We've adopted a rabbit from Blue Cross and we've found the whole process from start to finish, to be great!
We found a rabbit we thought would be a good fit for ours, online and applied - we heard back from Sophie, who asked us further questions and gave me chance to ask her some too 🙂
Our rabbit, Milo was collected not long after and he's lovely, everything he was described to be.
The adoption fee we paid was more than fair; if you're considering having any sort of animal, it's well worth looking at adoption centres and I'd recommend Blue Cross to anyone!
(Milo is to be bonded with our current rabbit - so he won't be a lonely bun!)

Great new centre opened in Sheffield working with other rescues. Offering advice and support to people struggling with their pets. They offer a 'home from home' service too. Rain Rescue are pleased to work alongside you guys and happy you've come to help with us in this area.

Not a fan , applied to adopt 2 staffies, I have had staffies for over 40 yrs, which includes one use for pit fighting, spent 6 weeks getting growled at and bitten(once) having had his nuptials knocked off and a lot of work, he became one proper furball of fun, had him 8.5 yrs,
Back to the brace of staffies jumped through all the hoops to be refused, reason part of my wall is to low and my neighbours have a dog,
Utter twaddle, apparently I was 2nd choice for these dogs ,the first family pulled out, no wonder if my experiences are anything to go by, it is little wonder that people buy dogs instead of rehoming one, I hope the staffies get a loving home, given the rescues expectations I doubt it,

Great run charity, have lots of fostering options, do not put a healthy dog down unless extreme behaviour that cannot be rectified. They try so hard. They offer flexible fostering options which is great. You can drop the foster dog off before work and pick it up again after work and also can borrow foster dogs for the weekend etc, not all the time but fantastic idea if the dogs get stressed out in kennels.
