This place is ideal if you want a pit stop shopping in Ashton under Lyne away from bustle or want a relaxed cafe atmosphere away from drama at home / work.. 2 lovely squishy sofas plus lots of tables, it's a community cafe so everyone is made to feel very welcome. The café is extremely affordable so it's worth a visit. There's also a stack of shelves dedicated to offering excess /surplus food on a pay what you can afford basis just fill a bag and make a donation. There's a craft club on a Weds morning so take your craft with you, to sit and natter over coffee, tea, cake and light snacks. So being a C.I.C. they offer assistance with a persons / families needs. Advice and help given to people who need it. They offer a counselling service. It truly is a remarkable place! Once you know where it is you'll visit again. It's a charitable organisation so they are sometimes looking for volunteers who have a bit of spare time to assist them with food collections from donor stores. So much goes on here. Special evenings / days to gather and have a fab time even make new friends. It's very sociable. Pop in and see for yourself!

The best crumpets I've had in a long time! Yum! Great community cafe with a 'pay it forward' scheme for the homeless or those who may not be able to afford a meal. They can arrange help for mental health issues and accessing services. Also a free food pantry! I met some colourful characters whilst here, including David Beckham! ?

What a find. I was out for an appointment, and was early. We spotted this place, unassuming. We were greeted and seated. The breakfast was cooked from scratch fresh. No preparation, out of fridge to be cooked
The value was excellent.
Also I could help that community in a small way.
If was in my home town would be a regular.

I really enjoyed it nice friendly people and a decent brew. Don't know how they manage to keep going as its run entirely on donations and they don't charge much for a cuppa or food, plus it's run mainly by volunteers.

This is a much needed and helpful venue for the homeless and less fortunate people in our society. The staff are very sympathetic and go to lengths to help.if they can't they will point you in the right direction. A cafe is on site for every person, whether paying or not. Toast and a drink are always available in all situations. Have called there on other occasions, still a delight to go there. No parking. Entrance for all.
