Over the years I've struggled with mental health and confidence issues, the Anthony Seddon Centre was mentioned to me when I attended a recent Andy's Man Club meeting. I've now visited the centre a few times and I'd just like to say it's a wonderful place, the staff and volunteers were very friendly and welcoming towards me on my first visit. I've enjoyed the drop in sessions and the quiz that takes place every Friday is fun and helps to keep my brain active. I feel comfortable at the centre and I look forward to attending future events and taking part in more activities in the future. I'm already feeling less socially isolated which is great for me.

I was first introduced to the centre due to a recent episode of worsening mental health. The volunteers were especially welcoming and I felt comfortable talking about my issues.

I’m planning to return to join some of their activities to improve my mindfullness.

SAFE Tameside also work in the building and it’s such a useful service.

Great place for people suffering with mental health and Suicidal feels. You can talk about anything here and there's always someone to listen and help you through the pain. They also help families with how to cope with their loved ones needs. And they help families and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. They even help children as young 10 years old with mental health.
Oh top of that they help police Drs and schools understand mental health issues which has made it so more easier for those suffering.
The people that work there are angels and really go out of their way to help you. If you feel you need any sort of help please visit this place. They make you feel so much better so you don't need to suffer anymore.

We booked a Conference room at The Anthony Seddon Centre to hold Tameside-Divers Snorkelling lectures.
The room was well laid out and enough space for each of our 20 students to sit comfortably at a table.
The centre provided the use of a OHP and Screen as well as tea, coffee, Juice and chocolate biscuits for the students.
The staff member was very welcoming and extremely helpful..
An absolutely perfect place in the centre of Ashton-under-Lyne to hold our lectures/exams.
We will definitely be hiring the facilities again in the future...they even opened up for us on a Saturday to help us get all our students together at the same time...Amazing..
