Amazing place!
I had a fantastic experience at the zoo! The variety of animals was impressive, and the exhibits were well-maintained. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about conservation efforts. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend a visit to this zoo for a fun and informative day out!

I was treated to a surprise stay at Bear Lodge and a feed with the Gorilla's for my 40th. I had a wonderful stay and loved every minute. It is a lot of walking so not appropriate for all ages unfortunately.

We booked last minute, the day before, and arrived on time for.our allocated arrival time. This worked really well with less than a 5 minute wait to go in. The tour train is an extra you have to book but even after our visit, we still can't find where the option is to add this to your booking. Could be made clearer. The whole place is open and with fewer people around the animals seem keener to come out and you get more time to admire them with fewer people. The base camp restaurant for some reason has decided to serve only chips with the usual toppings, gone are the baked potatoes which we very much enjoy at lunchtime when visiting. Instead we went to Babydolls, which was sublime! (5 star review left separately) There's plenty of sanitizer about and the place on the while is spotless! As a returning customer, we still cannot get enough of the place and look forward to our next visit, maybe the baked spuds will be back on the menu then 😉

Great day out! At first I was skeptical of the 'zoo' in terms of animals being in closed spaces, however the foundation have large grounds for them and are rehabilitating animals back into the wild all the time. Especially two rhinos who have since gone on to have 9 babies! Great work.

This was a very beautiful place to visit and it was nice to see the animals. Its a very hilly place so be prepared for lots of exercise. Because of the current situation the safari wasn't available to the public which was a shame as some of the animals you can only see via the safari. There is ment to be a one way system but its not very well sign posted so you end up just walking anywhere. But this wasn't really an issue. The food vendors are still serving food and drinks but for takeaway only which again wasn't really an issue. All in all a very enjoyable day out. Will be going again as we wanted to do the safari experience.

Great day, lots of walking and hills but well worth it. Though you can only see 2/3rd of the zoo if you don't get a ticket for the safari. But still well worth it for the work they do with conservation

Lovely visit to the Aspinal foundation again. Lots of accommodation to choose from some of the animals have moved around and past on since I was last there. Still one of the better parks to visit, with a much more ethical approach to the animals. Staff were friendly. Felt sorry for the wild dogs, they love to get around more.

Enjoyable stay at Giraffe Lodge. Well organised and good food. Nice accomodation, but be warned windy weather means a lot of noise from tent flapping. Tents made cosy with a heater and lovely views over the estates African Experience. Lots to see.
