I found a little jackdaw in my parent's garden that was struggling to fly and rather skinny. I wasn't sure if I would find anybody to help but Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue were so willing to support the bird back to good health. They even said we could call to check up on him in a few days. These kind people are serving and protecting our wildlife. I will be making a donation to this wonderful charity.

We found a couple of 10 days old wood pigeons in our garden, unfortunately the parents did not return to the nest. We brought the two chicks to Oxford wildlife rescue. Thanks for taking them into your care. I’m very pleased to know they are in good hands. You guys are incredible !!!

Great wildlife rehabilitation centre.

I took a baby rat into the rescue centre, which my cat had brought in to show me. I knew he (baby rat) was in expert hands and that everything that could be done would be done for him.

If animal rescue charities are your thing, then please check out their website for details on how you can help them. Thanks.

I called Oxfordshire Wildlife Rescue this morning after a muntjac deer became trapped on our school site between a shed and a wall. Ruth and Luke arrived and were able to free her and then quickly move to a safe space to release. They clearly care deeply about the animals they are looking after. I'm so grateful for their expertise and prompt response!

Thank you to the team for saving the life of a little starling who had survived being attacked by three magpies and having hundreds of vehicles drive right over him afterwards as he lay in the middle of the lane in shock before being scooped up and delivered him to these wonderful people. You make me proud to call you fellow humans! I would give you infinite stars if it were possible. Thank you again absolute angels!

We took an injured hedgehog here which they will willingly care for and return to the wild when injury heals. Made a donation to help their good work.
