Clearly enterprise car rental has a very bad rep. They cannot be trusted. If you are flying into London. Do not use these guy's!! Kept me waiting all day. Then claimed yhey have faults with there vehicles. Just think if your tourist. This not want you want hear. Use budget or national. There so many bad reviews about enterprise it's not even funny!! Then I given a Mercedes that would not of past it's MOT. The head light was damaged and not connected to the vehicle. On websites. Trusted review sites. Omg

Enterprise is not serious , the Peterborough branch have not dealt with the rental properly as after using their services through my car insurance back in September 2024 they have billed me and charged twice . After 3 weeks of phone calls through different departments within Enterprise , they’ve confirmed last week it’s been a mistake and ever since I am still awaiting a refund. Dealing with this /their mistake and miscommunication between departments has been very frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend using them very poor service when dealing with issues, leaving the work on the customer which should not be involved really!!! Disgusted by the service and complaints have been added through, might soon seek for legal advice as their process is very slow.

Therefore , my advice is to Be aware when using the service

I am extremely disappointed with the…
I am extremely disappointed with the way this company has handled my recent rental experience. After returning the vehicle, which was carefully inspected by the General Manager of the Lowestoft branch for nearly 45 minutes—checking every detail, even down to the wheel nuts—I was assured the car had no new damage. The damage they are now trying to make me pay for was clearly pre-existing, something I proved to the General Manager at the time and documented with timestamped photos.

Despite this, I received a claim for damages that were already present before I rented the vehicle. Trying to make me pay for pre-existing damage is completely unacceptable and feels like an attempt to con customers out of money.

I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from this company to be extremely cautious, document everything, and be prepared for poor business practices. I will not be using their services again.

Worst customer service ever! From beginning of rental and even worse after we had an accident with the vehicle. There is no one to speak with. No one has answers regarding the bills. They just charge your credit card whatever they want. They upped the mileage on the bill when I have proof of mileage upon return. Will need to fight with my credit card to block the charges. Never will I rent from enterprise in my life again!!!!!!

Your local branch has been unwilling to fully resolve my complaint, seems like the only way for an escalation is in a public forum.

When I ordered the extra large ‘Mercedes Sprinter sized’ van and was provided with a Citroën Relay which meant I was unable to remove all of my items in one trip, Relay is a fitting name for this van as 2 trips were required at additional diesel cost to me.

I was also unable to relocate all my possessions due to their size (These would have fitted fine in the extra large vehicle I originally ordered).

The options your organisation has given me as a resolution, will mean I incur additional expense to hire a second vehicle, and provide further fuel for a third journey. This will also mean I spend more of my valuable time, in one of your sub-standard vehicles.

Your organisation has not met its contractual obligations.

The local area manager now seems unwilling to talk to me, (please see attached image) Now that he has his pound of flesh.

Buyer beware: If you want a vehicle to do the job right use a different company, I’d suggest somewhere like Thrifty or Europcar.

I had recently to endure the worst experience ever from the Lee green branch manager in training , an already damaged car which was dirty and smelly when handed over to me without any proper mechanic inspection when it was release to me and I was made liable for it without any proper investigation.
I was not only wrongly charged for it and Furthermore, the rudeness I encountered there certainly based on my race made this experience extremely traumatic and I and all the witnesses with me, would never recommend anyone to use such a place if needed to hire a car.
It was the most appalling customer service encountered!!!

I rented my car from Stansted Airport, despite me repeating the returning location as Cardiff several times at the point of collection, they made a mistake by stating in the invoice as Stansted. I only realized few days after i rented the car and they immediately imposed additional charges when i called them about the mistakes. They also mispelled my family name in the invoice despite me giving them my driving licence to enter my details Overall very dissapointing customer service, i wont rent a car from them again.

Absolutely rubbish wouldn’t use this company got a fine weren’t even in possession of the vehicle £35.00 an now £60.00 what a joke unprofessional crap 33email 12 call an no refund ripe off unprofessional no correspondence between head office even with emails sent to customers service and head office and civil enforcement and dr fines what is more annoying is I did return the car in good faith with a full tank of fuel to be treated like this totally unfair unprofessional slap dash poor quality cars I would never ever use this company again
