Well what can you say about the RNLI.
One of the emergency services that is clearly underfunded, gets no money from the government, run by volunteers.
These volunteers put their life’s on the line every single time they go out to save lives.
Some of these stations have been around for over 100 years, generations of family members have manned the same station over many years.
We really need to do more for these amazing men and women!

'R.N.L.I. FOWEY LIFEBOAT"........Volunteers from FOWEY were called out during the early hours of the morning, to escort safely, foreign fisherman, who allegedly took advantage of the worsening weather conditions, during the night......No matter what the circumstances, "R.N.L.I. FOWEY", were out in the 'FORCE 8', stormy sea conditions......If you have ever been out at sea in a 'FORCE 5' Gale, with a heavy sea swell, you can easily imagine what a 'FORCE 8' + even worse wave/sea conditions are like.....That is where your feet actually leave 'the deck' on the down motion of the vessel after it peaks the top of each wave......The 'escort/recovery' mission was successful, with one of the "R.N.L.I. FOWEY CREW", acting as a translator....."R.N.L.I. FOWEY" + "R.N.L.I. U.K."...... Go on, wish them a " MERRY CHRISTMAS"........
