I have been a volunteer with Homestart since the beginning of the year and am really enjoying it. The training I received was fantastic and I am in contact with my family coordinator often and know she is there anytime I should need her. I find helping the families extremely rewarding and knowing I am helping and making a difference to them makes me proud to be doing this. All the team at Homestart and friendly and very helpful. If you are thinking about becoming a volunteer I couldn't recommend Homestart enough and you should get in touch with them.
