My husband went to East Orange VA and we were both pleased with his care. He did in the end have terminal cancer but he came home with hospice care. When he passed the doctor called offering his sympathy. They were marvelous

This place has been nothing but a nightmare. 5 months ago I went to the ER because I have 2 herniated disks in my lower back. I've had a horrible sciatic nerve episode that hasn't stopped ever since. They set me up for a PT appointment which took 6 weeks to get, and they cancelled on me do to a family emergency. They then rescheduled me which took another 6 weeks to get. They said my sciatic nerves are so bad, that I can't start physical therapy again until I get epidural shots in my spine. Pain management said the next available appointment is not until December 2nd. Currently I'm in crippling pain to the point where breathing hurts my back. The symptoms have gotten severe and nobody seems to care. I've tried getting a hold of pain management 3 separate times in the past week, and not one person has gotten back to me. Currently the symptoms are so bad that I'm mentally losing my mind because the pain is constant. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't even get anything done, and nobody seems to be helping out. The fact that I've been in such pain for 5 damn months, and I have to wait 2 more just to get a simple epidural shot, clearly shows the lack of work this place really displays. I've been in a hospital when I was deployed in a 3rd world country better than this one. If I could give negative stars I would. I literally can't take this pain anymore, and nobody seems to help

My husband is a veteran and has always been treated with dignity, professionalism and genuine care. He is a SCI patient and the doctors and staff have always been outstanding! He has never been treated with anything but respect!

Avoid at all costs. Dr. Verma of GI told me I am not worth his time or effect after conducting testing, he simply gives up and denies myself the opportunity to get a referral for an outside provider.

Minus that, the whole system disregards a veterans cares/concerns and only force what they think works best disregarding what the veteran says.

If you really care about your health and well-being. Deny this coverage, and get NJ Family Care or State Provided insurance.

All Federal Departments responsible for this lousy institution should with the up most scrutiny review lousy provider(s) in that place affiliated with the VA and start again with people who care for others and their health.

Establishment does nothing but throw excuses.

I’ve been waiting all weekend to meet with soldier on at 8am so I go to the er this morning by mistake thinking it’s Monday not Sunday. The VA police tell me to give them my id so they can issue me a summons for trespassing. They let me leave without a ticket. Am I trespassed? Don’t have to be trespassed to get a summons for trespassing? I guess this means community care?
