I recently attended a short course in WordPress at the Adult Education Centre. I was really pleased that this was available locally, since any other courses I found seemed to be in the Manchester area.

I was made to feel very welcome and found the content useful and relevant. It was helpful to exchange ideas with others and I received some very handy tips and also some plugins which I wasn't aware of previously.

I'm looking forward to any further WordPress courses.

A new friend of mine told me she had been enjoying some 'mentoring' at MNC.....she said it was helping her to develop some ideas for work......I wondered if I might be eligible for some business coaching too, so I made enquiries. All members of the team at MNC have been more than helpful to me since then; in fact they have been instrumental in getting me firmly back on my feet after returning from living in Asia. I've since created a workable business plan with the guidance of an excellent Business Coach, which distils all my skills, ambitions and goals into one direction. I've attended inspirational Business Breakfasts which has given me the opportunity to network and promote my 'brand' within the local community. I've attended social events there, used the 'free' meeting room, attended courses to brush up my skills, been involved as a 'contributor' during MNC 'Open Day' events.....and even referred others to MNC.....including my husband who now sits on one of their project committees! I've met some sensational people who in turn have helped me out with logo design, web-site design, photography, e commerce....some of whom are now firm friends too. If you're not sure where to start.....or how to get going....there will be some solutions for you at MNC. Oh, and I've just purchased some real estate locally which will enable me in the future to turn some of my personal and professional dreams into a reality in the community I love......beat that! Perhaps without the support and encouragement of the MNC I would never have taken these steps?

It as helped me a great deal, the food pantry as helped me with food, I av attended a few courses which are good, I go to a retreat cafe for my mental health, they av helped me with furniture and I av donated to them too, they av sales on now again great, I also help deliver meals on wheels, so aswell as being a service user there, I volunteer too, the staff and volunteers do a great job, proper community and friendly spirit
