I visited this pub with a friends last night. It is an extremely relaxed and friendly pub which I would definitely recommend. The lady behind the bar was very warm and chatty and always made sure we were OK for drinks.
Great little pub, lovely bit of parking out the back and the customers all seem friendly and chatty.
Proper old school vibes. Place like this need protecting.

The most friendly pub. The lady behind the bar was so kind she did everything she could to make us and our dogs comfortable and refreshed. We stopped at the Homeward Bound as a pit stop while walking the Pilgrims Way and were so thirsty we only drank water...we weren't the most ideal customers for someone trying to run a business but this made no difference, everything possible was done for us despite how much money we were spending (or not as in our case!) . The locals were super lovely too, very welcoming lovely people. This is just what a pub should be. We will definitely return with our families to eat and drink beer at this lovely place 🙂

This pub is just what you look for in a pub. Classic pub atmosphere with very friendly staff. Locals seem to love it and I can see why. Max behind the bar was amazing. Chatting with every customer and having a good old laugh with everyone. He is a credit.

A small group of us go to play bingo once a fortnight! Everyone is so friendly,and the land lady lays out a lovely little buffet included in the price which is very affordable.
