The park is a valuable asset to the local community. It provides a very pleasant area for walkers and cyclists.The grass is well maintained and there are two recreational areas; a playground for younger children and a tarmac area for basketball and five-a-side football. There is a car park near which there is a wooded area. There is in addition a small cycle track. Although there is a hall this is for scheduled booking. There are no public toilets. It seems that dog walkers behave with admirable responsibility. However, other users are less worthy of praise as litter is often a problem in the recreational areas, in spite of there being plenty of bins

Nice park with the usual selection of play equipment. It is across the road from the canal which is useful. I prefer this other local parks as people tend to be able to control their dogs better.

If you haven't a dog you're the exception. The grassed areas are often waterlogged and the children's playground is a swamp after rain.

This is a lovely little park on your way out of Hockley Heath and heading towards Lapworth. Took my dog for a lovely path walk around, you can take a perimeter walk and go in a figure of 8 through the centre. Popular with well behaved owners. Lovely little play area for children too.
