We held our son’s first birthday party in the main hall here last month. I could not have asked for a better venue! The hall was a great size. The staff organising, & on duty during the day, were fantastic. All very accommodating to our specific requirements & our caterers too. There is ample parking around back which is very useful. I would highly recommend The Shirley Centre & I would definitely use the venue again.

Typical British community centre, bookable, some parking around back, no issues for the event we were invited to.. management happy to extend time required on the day upon request

A great place for a small weddings or engagement parties. Thoroughly enjoyed the wedding meeting relatives and friends in a very informal atmosphere. The food and service was excellent. The facilities at the centre were good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place.
