My 50 year old brother has fragile x. We have know this for about 20 years but had never contacted the Fragile x society until he had an accident. We rang them looking for help and Jane, support worker for adults, could not have been more helpful. She spent a lot of time on the phone going through suggestions about how I could get my brother to hospital appointments and xrays etc. It was a very difficult time and her help made all the difference.
