So....this is a place where people can go & find a staff that is very kind & A Person Can Work Through Some Mental Issues or such....where you can do individual help, or talk in a group.
Personally....though I've done the work & have figured out how to Work Through Intentional Tort & Trauma...others may not have the GOD Given Blessings I'm Humbled To Have Been.....
Forced To Attain.

Shannon The Director Is Truly A GOD SEND. In My Opinion. For what my goal & intentions are while using the services provided.

Please, if you are suffering from anything, that
Others are dismissing, or you've just hit a road block....Give It A Try! They have a room where you can retreat with someone from the staff or alone...Too Meditate & Decompress. It's not high-end like a lot of the very well funded place, but I've been to both & at least you are not just a number waiting. "You Are Truly An Individual;" that matters.

All In My Opinion Of Cousre.

Thanks, everyone! Have a great week & Please remember: Spread GOOD & LOVE! ‍♂️?❤️

This place has been a blessing for me. I thought I was depressed but I quickly realized that depression is only a state of mind. I attended a group meeting in April and have become a "fixture" in this establishment ever since.

The Shac is set up for the mental health challenged citizens of Austin to come buy half price Metro Access passes. I volunteered there for 8 years and made a brief stop to visit a staff member. There is a lot of upgrading going on since I left. The programs I iniated and ran are no longer in place and I am greatly missed. But come see for yourself. Bring lots of money to buy coffee, soda or candy.

They are so helpful with my mental health. They have a meditation room to use too which is very special. Everyone is wonderful but I feel close to Shirley most of all.

I know someone that goes to the Shac for discounted bus passes. To them, as of this post, you must attend 2 classes a month. You do not have to have a mental issue to attend. They have resources for other issues as well.

I love their groups and would like to participate more. But with my other appointments, I'm unable to attend, even through zoom a lot of the time.
