We’ve been working with Melissa for 3 years. When we first met her our daughter was having a VERY hard time getting the educational helps she needed at school. This was affecting our daughter’s grades and self-confidence. With Melissa’s help she was able to get an IEP tailored to her specific needs.

Our daughter is now thriving in school because of Melissa’s determination to get her what she needed. Our daughter’s report card this last term was all A’s and one B! Our daughter loves school now!!! It’s been so rewarding to see how self sufficient and confident our daughter has become because of the accommodations that were made.

We highly recommend Melissa! We fully intend to use her services until/through college.

Melissa is very knowledgeable about student needs, the IEP process and accommodations. She's pleasant to work with and responsive. She helped to get my son's IEP tailored specifically to him with measurable goals designed to actually help his advancement.

We have been working with Melissa for less than a month and have already learnt so much about the educational system regarding accommodations and special education. She helped us to gain so much more confidence in our own understanding.

I cannot even fathom having gone into a 504 meeting without her there. She asked relevant questions, clarified things we would not even have known to clarify and made sure that goals were realistic and accommodations were well suited for our child. I feel so much less anxious about my child’s education knowing that I have Melissa to consult with.

If you have any hesitations in recruiting DFW Advocacy - let me clear them up for you. Do it do it do it. We have no regrets whatsoever. She is worth every penny.

Melissa is extremely knowledgeable. She was able to lewd us through the IEP process and fill in the gaps the school district haven’t considered. My son hated school prior to all of this and now he loves it again. I recommend her to anyone needing help through this process, she is an invaluable asset to have on your side.

We’ve worked with Melissa for a year now and she has been a great educational advocate for our daughter and a great resource for us! She’s patient, and spent a fair amount of time on researching various topics and courses of action for us. She’s easy to work with and knowledgeable about special education. I highly recommend DFW Advocacy!!
