I took an injured baby dove from my mum's garden here. It was good to see them caring for our wildlife.

Took in an injured owl we had found and nursed him to health. Have just been messaged to tell me it has recovered and has been released back to the wild.

I have recently taken two birds to Kathy. She has done an amazing job looking after them! Firstly, we found a pheasant who had hot the front of a lorry and been trapped on the front of the lorry for 30 miles. He was nursed back to health and released in Stockport.
Secondly, a juvenile magpie who I found after having just been attacked by a dog. He is currently being looked after and will hopefully be released in a few months. Thank you so much from me and my colleagues at Wickes Huddersfield.

A lady answered the phone and gave advice and confidence to try and help an injured bird. It flew when I tried to scoop it up. It was injured on its back. Reassuring there is someone who could have helped and accepted it. Thank you.

Lovely people, they really care every little animal. We have been in touch a few times when we have found a poor little injured bird and have been able to drop off and even have someone collect animals in the past but they are a very busy group of people so it's always best to be able to take animals in so that they can concentrate on looking after them and not being called out to pick them up. We've seen some lovely posts, updating us on the animals stages of recovery which is lovely to see! Thanks guys keep up the hard work xx

We found a injured pigeon in town centre and promptly called the centre, unfortunately the was on their own so we had to bring the pigeon ourselves. Out of hours but she still welcomed us,took the pigeon and informed us what will happen and gave us a tour of the facilities.
So much love and dedication they all put into the care and health of injured animals.

Not a place for casual visitors, though volunteers are welcomed. This is a working wildlife rescue who will take in injured birds mainly, treat and tend to them and return to the wild. Took an injured rook there and was overwhelmed by the kindness of the lady who received and examined him. Thankyou for your selfless devotion to our wild friends
