A good place to walk your dogs have a picnic or explore woodlands. There is a small 4 bay parking next to the common however a larger parking next to the old athrusa adventure centre. Two dog waste bins located either end of the common.
There are a couple of down sides the biggest is it gets muddy and that has gotten worse since the recent development next door.
The wheelchair accessibility is zero with no maintenance done on the path going through the wood.

Beautiful place full of cool little treasures. Would be a massive shame for them to cover it over with houses. I really hope they don't do that.

Hoo Common is part of one of our dog walking routes. Great view of the Medway area from the seat at the top. Can be very boggy after a spell of wet weather.
