I didn't realise a library could do so many things and become a real hub of the community! This is an excellent place with lots going on as well as borrowing books. The staff are great and the whole atmosphere is welcoming. Thank you!!

Only in town for a few hours, but needed somewhere quiet to sit & work; staff couldn't have been more helpful. A very different vibe to my usual Saturday morning haunts, the Reading Rooms of the British Library, but every bit as good an experience.

Today I had a great experience at Horncastle library I needed help printing something and the 2 ladies in the library couldn't do enough to help me 5 stars all round thank you

Friendly staff and a nice airy place to visit. There are activity groups throughout the month. Quiet area to sit and read a book or newspaper. Nice selection of books and computers for public use. Photocopy/printing available at very reasonable cost. Nice selection of souvenirs/gifts to purchase. Has a section of Roman wall inside too!

Edit: Barclays bank staff come in a couple of times per week so their customers can do face-to-face banking since the branch in town closed.

Popped in on the off chance that I would be able to get an email printed out.
I’m not very tech savvy. So it was lovely that I was greated by 2 fabulous people Donna & Tom who could help me. They went above and beyond. Friendly / great communication. I am so impressed that I’ll be going back with my grandson to explore the children’s corner. Happy Nee Year and thank you for fabulous service ?
