They project a good image, but unfortunately, they're not nearly as helpful as they project.

For example, one of the services they say they offer is a place to shower for people who do not have access (or have limited access) to bathing facilities. They do have a shower (I have seen it myself), and I have asked if I could use it, and was told to come in any time I needed one. Unfortunately, when I came in, they had changed their mind and decided showers were by appointment only; when I asked to make an appointment, they said I couldn't now and would have to ring or text them later; and when I contact them by phone, they state they're much too busy and I'll have to ask another time. So, in practice, it is not actually possible to take a shower.

My experiences with most of the services they aim to provide to the community have been similar, which makes the KAP overall a "very good on paper, of quite limited use in practice" charity. It's unfortunate, because the services they are said to provide are, for some people, quite badly needed.

Absolutely disgusting treatment to me by the staff. They give out punishments if they are wrong and you disagree. Hypocritical people. Made me feel anxious about being there and kept doing things to push me out. They want people they can control there. It's a fact
