It's time public started thinking more humane not insular. This place is a life line. Why is it those who claim with ego there kind. Well. No crystal ball to becoming homeless whether you are rich or poor. Hypocritical people will try to judge their future and not a small thought for those you are condescending about.

First base literally was my first base! With their help, I got from rough sleeper to hostel and eventually permanent council accommodation. It was hard work, but it was definitely my footing on a long ladder, and I can't praise them enough.

Day centre for the homeless. Severely limited opening at present and you really need to book an appointment.

Excellent free takeaway food, though served from 9am
