Katumba is a great community of people enjoying samba drumming. A real family atmosphere and no prior experience of drumming necessary. Experienced, enthusiastic teachers guide you from whatever skill level you have to being able to perform at parades and festivals all over the country, even international opportunities. And it's not just drumming, there are yoga classes, workshops and community events. Why not check it out for yourself, even if that takes you out of your comfort zone, as with me, but I enjoy every minute of my new skill and meeting my new found friends. Win win ?
