I flatted out on my mountain bike. Bike shop dude hooked me up with a nice set of new tires and tubes. Would’ve been stranded without this shop! Praise the lord for local business! Will be back! Also, nice air hose in front of shop to get proper inflation! A+

Extremely competent friendly staff that caters to all customers. Amine did a superb job checking us in and expedited return. Great talent is indicative of superior businesses. Staff insured bikes were accurately assigned to each rider based on size and skill level. Safety of rider was this businesses major concern.

I stopped in here on June 9 to ask an impossible question (where could I go for a 3 night backpacking trip keeping in mind that I don’t want to deal with crampons / spikes and am driving a 2WD, low clearance car) and they spent forever with me, poring over maps, studying AllTrails reviews, and even calling another outdoors shop in Durango to ask about trail conditions. They couldn’t find an answer to my impossible question, but gave me some fantastic advice about places where I could car camp and take day hikes. I had two fantastic days in the mountains thanks to them, making it up to Upper Blue Lake and around the Cross Mountain - Lizard Head loop. (Snow on both, but manageable.) I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. They were too busy helping me to sell me anything much (I did end up buying a few small things), but looks like they have great stock—and you can count on the customer service. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the areas.Thanks so much, guys!

I forgot my spikes at the hotel and needed some! Walked in and was greeted with a smile and assisted with so much care. Was going to purchase the wrong spokes and the fellas that were working helped get the best gear for my hike. They let us know of all the cool nearby hikes. Thank you so much for the kindness.

Hands down the best adventure sports store around. The customer service is top notch & you could not ask for a better selection of gear for all sports, all seasons. Ridgway Adventure Sports saved my trip as I desperately needed a new pair of hiking boots & was developing blisters with my old heavy pair. Amanda and Andy were beyond kind to assist me with the right selection. With a new pair of shorts, a sun shirt & my light weight boots I was way more comfortable. The next day I went back to rent a bike. Again I was taken care of & had a fabulous experience exploring the area on an electric bike. I was even given great suggestions of where to go. I love supporting local businesses & strongly encourage you to do the same! Ridgway Adventure Sports is my new favorite store & I live in Denver!!!

My wife bought her bike from RAS. Loyal, committed, and gave us the best customer service we could ask for. Amanda was very responsive even when they were closed for the season. They likely could have sold the bike to someone else but kept their word and waited for us to respond a day or 2 after she tested it. Andy went above and beyond to modify the bike and let my wife trial different components in order to make the bike fit her. They didn't want to commit to selling us something that "might" work. Felt like they truly had her best interest in mind and weren't out just to make a sale. Thanks!

I walked into the store to ask a few questions about renting a mountain bike. All three employees were super friendly and very knowledgeable. The brands they carry are high quality as well. They let me know that I could ride right out the door to the ridgeway area trails and gave me more than enough advice. I was so impressed that I decided to go for it. They set up every last detail of the bike up to meet my needs. I had an incredible 20 mile ride and was appreciative of their top notch customer service. Great people who put all their effort into their craft and meeting the customers needs above and beyond. Keep up the great work.

I first visited RAS in January and tried on a couple of pairs of ski boots. I wasn't quite ready to buy a pair so I held off knowing I'd be back in couple of months if I changed my mind. I decided I wanted to so I came back to RAS. Andy took the time to measure my foot and try out several different options to find the best possible fit and I came back a couple days later to get the liner molded. I had a great experience - everyone there had my best interest and were really personable, informative, and helpful. Highly recommend heading to RAS for your next pair of ski boots or anything else you may need - if they don't have it, they probably know who does/can point you in the right direction!
