Very cold. We were in a large function room that was heated by means of a couple of small fan heaters that weren't adequate
It was a very cold, freezing day outside & we were expecting a warm welcome inside. We didn't get it

We go to the rec regularly for the Northern Soul offering.It never disappoints us.Great Room,Great Dance floor,Very efficient bar area and staff.Two adequate Ladies and Gents Toilet areas.Lovely friendly crowd that really make you welcome.We travel up from Stoke-on-Trent and the journey is well worth it.

Great venue, and staff. Been here a few times for party's, always a good atmosphere. Everyone knows the staff locally and seems the place to have a doo.

Food prepared by Louise Louge and her team is brilliant. We had a Christmas dinner and it was excellent, just like home cooked. Fresh ingredients nicely prepared. Loads of food. The tables were decorated nicely. Friendly service

Large function room and smaller ones, been to several Rotary Club lunches there, and have been to many fund raisers there, too. Louise, who does the catering, is amazing along with her team.
The bar team are very friendly and helpful too.
