Although I haven't had need to use the services of Star Throwers, I always choose them whenever I have charity shop donations to drop off. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and always grateful for donations.
There is a lovely little shop on their site on Melton Road, which is like an Alladins Cave. There are so many interesting items for sale.
A good local charity thoroughly deserving of support.

A wonderful local charity offering support and advice for Cancer sufferers. Well organised and lovely people. If you are diagnosed with the Big C, don't hesitate to contact them. Meeting people who have already gone or going through treatment is invaluable.

Sad if you need to go, but once there you're guaranteed a warm welcome, an empathic ear and much better advice than the NHS is allowed to give you.
This is not an alternative medicine option, it's in addition to and will not in any way compromise or interfere with your NHS diagnosis or prognosis, but it will help you see some of the wood hiding behind all those very scary trees.

Starthrowers is incredible and you immediately feel at home as soon as you enter the homely bungalow and meet the wonderful staff. I have had several different treatments and consultations and presently having fantastic MLD wit lovely Lucy and relaxing reflexology lymph drainage with kind Gracie. I was extremely lucky to be able to go via Starthrowers to the Green Room at Mangreen for Reiki and soundbath too which was absolutely brilliant and helped both mentally and physically and I would love to go back. I am very grateful to you all x
