Quite pricey for what it is. Shame as the prices put many people off... however this is the case for most charity shops in Christchurch. Not a great location for bargain hunting.

This is a good quality charity shop. I visit charity shops a lot, mainly because it is a good way of raising funds for charity. I give donations as well as buy goods. I will however quite often buy something on impulse. I feel that the cause deserves it. What lets Julia's house down is that they quite often overprice goods, particularly clothes, which means you can buy it from the original retailer cheaper than they are selling it for. This stops me from impulse buying which is such a shame.

Julia's House is a worthwhile charity which we do not mind supporting. What is annoying sometimes is that they do tend to over price things which sometimes deters me from buying them and therefore stops me from contributing to a worthy cause. If the price is reasonable I will often buy it weather I need it or not because I appreciate that it is in a good cause. Some times I have seen things in here which cost the same or more than I can buy it in the original shop.
