This lifeboat house is very special, because it is open for visitors, and you can get right up close to the lifeboat from a gantry
The history of all rescues are on display, and there is also a shop for souvenirs
The lifeboat crew practise on some Sundays, and you can witness the unique way in which the boat is launched and retrieved.

First rate RNLI lifeboat station in Hastings. On the day I visited the boat was clean and tidy and ready to go at short notice. The guys running the lifeboat are to be commended for their hard work and bravery. There is a RNLI shop attached for information and small gifts. It is open 7 days a week with easy access

An amazing charity and an incredibly friendly branch. Bought some goodies and got a brilliant tour by a friendly chap who showed us the boat and let my son put on all the gear!

Wonderful detailed tour of the lifeboat station with a really helpful guide showing the children all the features of the lifeboat. They really enjoyed seeing the new boat and learning about all the ins and outs of lifeboat life.

Not open currently to visitors but in usual time it's a great place to visit and see Hastings Shannon class lifeboat and inshore lifeboat. Lots of interesting information about the history of Hastings lifeboats. Nice gift shop run by volunteers. Kids will love it.
