Mallydams Wildlife Centre is a gem for anyone passionate about nature and animal welfare. The dedication of the wildlife rehabilitators at Mallydams is truly the heart of this center. Their compassion and expertise are evident from the moment you step in, as they tirelessly work to rescue, heal, and reintroduce animals back into their natural habitat.
I can only applaud the work you all do under tremendous strain and often unfounded and unfair criticism .
Please long continue the fantastic work you all do.

All the staff and volunteers work very hard to bring the animals and birds they care for back to full health so that they can be released back into the wild. Nothing is turned away and every creature is treated with the utmost care and compassion. It's a wonderful place.

Disgusting organisation
Contacted this inept organisation for a young magpie in distress. It was the hottest day of year and had cowered in the corner. Requested someone to come out. Was advised to prod the bird. I refused as i could clearly see the bird was alive. Advised to contact in morning. Had called my neighbour who called a charity who came out. She stated the bird was young and very weak. Sadly I was informed that the bird died. This was clearly a neglect of duty by staff who did not want to come out 30 minutes before they closed. Disgusting.

Took a pigeon that I found injured today from a cat. They let me in and I could instantly tell that they would do their absolute best.

I rang a vets beforehand which said they would put it down!

Mallydams told me they would do everything they could to get the pigeon back to full health, so thank you. I will try to get there for any fundraising events in the future.

I rescue wildlife and take them to mallydams and know them. They always explain what going to happen to them and when ask always let's me know how the animal is doing. Just to make all readers aware they do not put to sleep. any young birds or any other baby. no matter how young they are. iv taken many babies and they have been very well taken care of them and then returned to the wildlife. Please don't believe what others say. Very friendly people and caring centre.
