There are some superb individual carers at this home plus excellent nursing care . However there are some serious shortfalls which let this home down:
1. Rarely visible manager who demonstrates minimal empathy to residents, their families nor staff - simply not good enough!
2. A very minimal events and activities programme so stimulation for residents is sadly lacking
3. A beautiful garden area that is rarely used nor optimised - this is such a crying shame for residents as fresh air and listening to the pleasures of nature is good for the soul - this could be made so beautiful with the will to do so
4. A mini bus that is promoted in literature but in reality sits there rarely used. There are great local places to take residents if the will was there to do so (see point 1)

Such a shame as there are some very hard working and dedicated people working there and the setting is lovely x just needs the passion love and care coming from the top downwards
