Went to a yoga event here. The building is lovely and clean, nice big hall with lots of chairs and tables. Kitchen was very clean, as we're the toilets. There is also a little garden area off the main hall.

I have the pleasure of doing exercises once a week and I can only say good things about it. Staff are wonderful, professional, helpful, friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. They tick all of the boxes and more. I only wish all of the classes I teach could be at the deaf centre as it has such a happy atmosphere. Thank you. Harry Jackson

Started my level two BSL course under a tutor Bryn Williams from Signature all was going well until I noticed several weeks into the course a form of bullying going on. Wasn’t me that only noticed it but several other students did too. Insults - Bad Mannerism - unprofessional conduct- Victimisation -Unwilling to help in any way and more.
So I and several others approached graham cockburn regarding this and he sat in one of the lessons to monitor his conduct, but of course he behaved him self.
During one of the lessons around 8-10 weeks in, I ask a question “What is the sign for fireman” his reply was
"IAM NOT TELLING YOU”!
I said I beg your pardon!
His reply was the same! IAM NOT TELLING YOU!
I said to him I pay you to teach me BSL and Now I am asking a question I wish to know the answer!
He told me to find the answer on the BSL App!
Infront of a class of students, I was very embarrassed and felt belittled about the situation to the point that I had to grab my coat and leave.
I immediately Phoned Graham Cockburn I was in a state of anger, over the way I was treated by this Man to inform him what had happened and he said, He would sort it out.

A few weeks had passed and I didn’t hear anything at all. After a couple more weeks that went by, A letter came threw the post! A court summons demanding the moneys for the amount of £295.00 for the level 2 course.
Several phone calls were made to Helen Fitzgerald and Ruth Turner the Manger of the DRC and emails were sent back and fourth to each other regarding a BOGUS Investigation She was supposed to be carrying out Into the bulling carried out by Bryn Williams.
Upon my self and other Students, Helen! The so called Manger of the DRC sent me out another letter saying no proof of bulling was found after concluding her investigation, and that I would have to pay for the course, I and others were bullied off.
So I payed it!
Later I found out that Helen and a member of her staff, Did Had a conversation regarding this matter and they came to the conclusion that Bryn was in fact bulling his students the students that Bryn assessed and assumed would NOT pass his course, Therefore keeping his remarkable 100 percent pass record making him look like a great teacher!
The outcome was to brush it under the table and keep quiet about the whole thing!

Well Helen as a Manger of a charity may I say, You are NOT a very Charitable person.
You are a bully and a liar!
I Have herd other things regarding you, The Children in need charity will be informed off!
She also will not let me do a level 2 course which i need for furthering my BSL skills with my son whom is deaf.
You should not be in a position you hold at the DRC and you are a disgrace to the Deaf Resource Centre and the Deaf community!

An excellent facility for the area. The DRC provides a wealth of services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. The centre also provides room hire at very reasonable prices.
