If i could give 0, i would.
Nobody picks up the phone and they ask you for the details to be called back which is crazy for people that live in domestic abuse, where their abusers can see the call at any time.

Once you receive advice they do not help you with anything.

I was in a really bad place when I made the call to EWA. I was really nervous and scared at the same time. There was no need. I got all the help I needed and some more. In my worst moments I could call in floods of tears and got the help I needed, the advice and knowledge these people have is unbelievable.
I can honestly say without EWA I don't know where I would be today.
If you need help and or advice pick up the phone.
So EWA thank you for everything you did for me.

I can't thank EWA enough for the support I have received since last year. The workers are absolute LEGENDS. I'm still in touch. I want to stand up for women & their children, to be a voice for those that don't have the strength (YET). Tell me where to start & I'll be there.

Was sent away because my kids were noisy. From the same person who operated as a legal representative and failed to ensure safety measures are in place for the abusive ex I fled from with my kids. Also didn't bother to re-apply a sentence after his first option wasn't of his likes, resulting in a closed case with the offender left to walk free of charges, after pleading guilty. Unimpressed is the best I can say about Edinburgh Women's aid. Hope and pray that's only my case for some reason and women are otherwise empowering women within this otherwise -hopefully- sacred organisation. Quite a shameful provision delivered to me unfortunately. Hoping to never find myself in their need in the future ever again

Very helpful place once you're in and seeing someone, just personally it's a bit of a daunting building with buzzer system so going for the first time anxiously was difficult. Bit like I say great help and resources once inside, thanks ladies
