Worked with a family coach for not even 6 months,since the first visit the family coach was already convincing me to close my file. It's like every visit,she'd say,"you got this all under control,let's close the file",or "looks like you don't need me help-close the file!". The visits got cut short pretty fast,only 2 months in,we were already visiting 1 once a month. Today after the holidays,did a catch up phone call-again!. "Let's close your file!". I also had an emergency where I had to phone the family coach(Maria),and she handed me off to her supervisor. That wasn't very parent coaching of her to handle the situation,and for her to say she worked at Aulneau. I trusted,and believed they were going to help me,but to try and convince me each and everytime we met to try to get me to quit the program-Maria you did your job!. You pushed me to quit the program. Thank you for nothing!!,your program did nothing to help me parent. I take my 1 star back- ZERO STARS!!

Like all therapy, it needs to fit. Everyone will have different experiences and not all therapists are the same. I started with one but after a few sessions realized she was not a good fit for me. I called and told them it wouldn't work and the Supervisor called to discuss and wanted to know why. I told her and they lined me up with someone else who was an incredible fit and I'm lucky to have found her. She has helped me through some very hard stuff and I know without her I would not have gotten through it! Don't be afraid to advocate and tell someone if they are not a good fit....if you don't feel that bond, trust, understanding then ask to find someone else.

If you ever get the lady who smokes ciggarettes for respite who lives in "old st. vital" request for another one because she stole from my home and denied smoking cigarettes inside my place while I was gone.

But i will not let her bad decisions reflect on my own view of what family dynamics as a whole have done for me and my son ever since they stepped in and helped. They by far are the utmost caring and understanding resource in the city period. If you are feeling lost and helpless i advise you to turn to these people first because I was blessed to have another respite worker to replace that ingrate and my new worker is literally a saint. Sadly my term is ending soon and I forever will appreciate her for tolerating my child and helping him excel and flourish while I ran errands and attended appointments etc. I'm forever grateful for you ann and hazel my case coordinator alongside the rest of the team @ family dynamics regardless of the things ive said in the past. I appreciate you all and I'm sorry for being unstable @ times. Thanks for putting up with me ❤

They are working at a drop in center around me and all the lady working there does is helps out her family and whoever is not her family get the scraps I call in to complain and the lady that answers sounds really rude like I cant complain they have people that look down on natives working for them I feel this place needs to be investigated

It's hard to put a rating on this kind of place as each individual's experience will be quite distinct in terms of help they need and help they receive. I will say that my options at initialization of creating a relationship with my worker at Family Dynamics were presented to me overtly as to try to direct me to the help that was deemed necessary without being pitchy. That the location is accessible without having to navigate through most of the mall. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you're looking for something like therapy and cannot afford it monetarily.

I applied for counseling. Was told 6-8 weeks. After 10, called for an update. Told it would another month or less and to call back then. Called for 2 weeks straight, guy is never in his office. Email went unanswered. Finally asked for my name to be removed from list. I waited 16 weeks for help and it just never came. Thanks for nothing, Family Dynamics!

Kept losing the worker that we were suppose to have due to the pandemic, then the supervisor cut everything that we had been told we were getting off with no explanation and a lot of lies and excuses.
