I’ve been suffering Mental Health for the last few years now and was finding it hard to navigate through. I made contact with Basildon Mind where I was paired with a very understanding, professional lady. My 12 or so weeks with her really helped to understand what was going on with me. For anyone that is looking for someone to talk too, I couldn’t recommend Basildon Mind enough.
The contact centre is very warm, comfortable and inviting. I felt relaxed and could discuss anything I needed to with ease. I will forever remember a phrase that makes me smile every time it comes to mind.

Disgusted with a certain male staff member that works their. Early today my partner who has metal health issues pushed the buzzer to the building to ask for help as she was having a break down, panic attack setting in, wanting to give up on life etc. A male come out to speak with her and said what do you expect us to do !!!! We are a counciling service. Are you not also human beings ! His attitude put her off and she run away to find more help. Lucky the social club close by has human beings working their and helped her

Mind are excellent at everything they do. They provide excellent service for anyone that is struggling with mental health issues or simply if you need to talk to someone.

Staff here are great I've dealt with anxiety on and off and this place has really helped just by talking and discussing things with them, recommended if needed
