Although the waiting list is long I understand it is not RSVPs fault. They are simply working with the limited resources they have. I now have an amazing therapist who’s emphatic and non judgmental and the receptionist is really welcoming.

I turned to RSVP and they never spotted that I was being abused because it was not by a man or a partner who was the abuser. They even cancelled my appointments without telling also I was forced to feel uncomfortable when I attended their groups. They said I was too quiet. I was quiet because I was traumatised. I was never invited back to the Org again. Months later, I ended up being abused by a close male friend who I confided in regarding previous abuse from others. I was too afraid to access RSVP services after they told me though a video they made that I was not to use their services. Solicitors warn RSVP that I needed their help and support but they ignored it.
