This school may be ok in some aspects however certain teachers love a serious power trip and should not be working with students. I went to this school for 5 years and I have nothing positive to say about many of theses teachers, it is clear that favouritism is present with many teachers- some more than others- as some students have been allowed to return to school and attend the prom despite verbally threatening teachers and students as well as attempting to physically fight them. There have also been other situations (including a student lashing out at me) and when I asked my head of year 11 if he would be punished, I was told he would be punished however he received no punishment and I received no apology from him. Despite this, I was suspended from school and banned from prom (after purchasing everything) due to a misunderstanding that occurred between me and a teacher; I was not given an explicit reason as to why I was banned other that that I was, “rude” and despite them insisting that I would be refunded the money for my ticket as I’m no longer welcome to prom, they have not done that. If your child is rich, privileged, or a male then this would be a great establishment to send your child as the head of year 11 will only treat them fairly if they fit under one of those 3 categories.

Its meh, a good school in general, nice staff and equipment for lessons, but there are a few downsides but mainly caused by students, such as Litter, Destroyed areas etc...

Great School. My son is just doing his GCSEs so final year. He has had an amazing time at this school with really supportive teachers accross the board. He has smashed his experience at school and made the most of almost every opportunity given. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this school.

My sons just finished in year 11 and hes really enjoyed his time at Lord grey. They can be abit strict at times and sometimes go too far with the rules but he has grown into a hardworking young man. He struggled with maths and his teacher was really helpful.
