Lovely charity shop, plenty of stock and a good variety , handy place to go if you are starting out in a house, some good bargains for people on a tight budget, staff are pleasant and helpful, when you consider they volunteer their time it's great.

It's very shocking about the staff attitude towards the environment pledge where you have to make a separate trip to the store get a full refund for the items you bought after the arrangement of the collection for the returned items. I don't think the staff understood when I was talking about the environment, she was talking about my petrol cost which I have a slightest consideration. I don't know wether they were under work pressure, who did not make me feel comfortable and at ease. Not everyone is calm like me if they treat customers who return items like this. British Heart Foundation needs to make the payment, transaction and refund process easier with modern technologies for the benefit of the environment of the earth we live in!!!

The staff in this shop need training and some empathy my mum wanted to buy a chair which she had seen in the shop and asked me to go and have a look at it. it was
a nice chair priced at £300 I went to the counter and asked the gentleman if my mother could ring up and pay for the chair over the phone, he explained that wasn’t possible so I explained my dad had dementia
And mum could only get down when a sitter was available so if she rang to say she wanted it would they be able to hold it for her till she could bring the money .
I was told by the gentleman yes we can. He wrote the shop telephone number down and chair make and colour for me and I left
My mum rang the shop and was spoken to by a rude lady that said No we don’t hold things and I don’t believe any of our staff would have said that
Mum is 85 and this really upset her and mad her feel very anxious.
I returned to the shop and they remembered the call and said she was unable to say who had said it. The gentleman in question was stood beside her I said it Was this gentleman she asked him and he said I told her I would hold it for her but only 30 min
Which he never said only 30 mins
But they said the chair is still available if Mum want it
No thank you your staff was rude and upset my mum saying they didn’t believe her
This is not a charitable attitude by any means
I think this shop needs a new manager
As they don’t seem to care about the customers this is not the first time I have encountered rude staff in this shop ?‍♀️?

On Wednesday I truly had the worst experience in a charity shop in my entire life. The till manager? Total vibe killer. Eye rolls, the attitude, everything. It's like she was on a mission to make every interaction feel like I murdered her entire family. Left the store feeling more annoyed, upset and overwhelmed than anything, wondering if they ever learned the phrase "customer service" in her training especially in a charity shop. Don’t understand how they became the Manager

This store is disgusting all the staff are very rude and will take everyone's money no matter what and not little amount either plus donations too and they dont realise when they are giving people anxiety. they need to take into account if their customer has a medical disability and situations as i do and felt humiliated and my disability getting worse as Staff started an argument infront of other customers. Need much more customer service training

My next door neighbour who is 78 years old has been asked to leave the shop in Rotherham twice because she doesn't buy anything!!!! Even Harrods allow people to browse. She has bought lots of things in the past and says she likes to call in when passing just incase they have something she likes. Customer service training and manners wouldn't go a miss ?
