What a wonderful place. The staff were all so lovely and all the beautiful little residents so well cared for. Entry is free and they ask for donations. I'd be happy to pay to visit though as the money goes to such a good cause.
The cafe is great. We had soup and toast, followed by cake. It was reasonable and absolutely delicious.
Go and have a wonderful day out and help a great cause at the same time.

Free entry, contributions accepted. Quite a lot of walking. Horses too busy eating their hay when I visited so not near fences. Cafe only serving cake and tea/ coffee due to no staff. Toilets on site , clean and well kept. Small gift shop on site . Dogs welcomed on leads.

Can’t recommend enough, this place is a great day out for anyone who loves donkeys, horses and/or ponies. The animals have so much space to enjoy and it was lovely seeing the volunteers carefully tending to them whilst we were walking around. Definitely won’t be my last visit

Took my mum & her friend to visit The Gangsters.
They enjoyed petting them and meeting the other horses.
We had a lovely meal in the resturant too.

Beautiful place with friendly staff and a great day out. If you’re like me and not overly interested in horses (wife and daughter very much are) fear not the walk is really enjoyable with some lovely views and lots of wildlife along the way so something for all. Also the cafe has delicious cakes making for a very gratifying way to reward yourself for taking everyone out for on a fun family day out. Staff were fantastic - thank you to everyone involved and for the fantastic work they do. I am now a proud adopter of a horse which is not something I expected I would be at the start of the day!

Wonderful place, ponies, horses and donkeys all in large areas. Plenty to see and have a walk around. Great little visirltor centre/shop and a cafe and loos. Just a wonderful place for some time out.

This is an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful countryside with lots of horses, ponies and donkeys that have been rescued in quite a number of cases from abuse and neglect or have been given sanctuary for other reasons such as Ill health on the part of the owners etc.
The animals are well cared for and looked after by the highly committed staff who run the sanctuary. As well as the horse paddocks, there's also a nature walk as well and a nice gift shop and cafe run by really friendly staff with the proceeds from the sales also going towards the care of the animals. It's a delightful place in a beautiful location run by lovely people. Can't wait to return again in the future!

Fab little place to go with children. Lots of things to keep them entertained. The education room near the toilets was awesome (not very well signposted so don’t miss it). Cafe was fab, park was a little disappointing, they should make it better as this would bring in more through the cafe cause parents would stay longer. Lots of horses and info, kids loved it.
