Cats Protection York run an extremely professional and caring adoption centre. I was really impressed with how nice the cats enclosures were and with the knowledgeable people that run it.
I could tell that they really care about the cats in their care and that they make sure that each cat is carefully matched to a potential new owner, based on the needs of both cat and owner.
I am so pleased that I decided to contact Cats Protection York and really grateful to of been given the opportunity to give an excellent cat a new start in life.

We had a fantastic experience upon our first visit to the Adoption Centre recently. We are looking to adopt a second cat and were in need of advice and support regarding the introduction of a new pet into our home. James and the team were not only extremely welcoming but were exceptionally informative and respectful to us. We got a plethora of information during our meeting and were given lots of relevant, useful resources for extra reading material at home. The centre is a lovely, caring place for all of the feline residents there and is a great place for anyone to meet their new family members. Thanks for all your help so far!

Our 21 year old cat died last year, and Cats Protection was recommended by a colleague and when we went my husband and I were very impressed by the facilities, cleanliness, and the care the cats receive. The volunteers and female manager were all very helpful and kind. We have adopted a lovely female cat who is settling in very well. Thank you!

Went to have a look for a cat as my daughter would really like one and we as a family would love to give a animal a second chance
When we arrived the gentleman said have a look around as we where looking he said there may not be on suitable and then he turned round and said there maybe a kitten my daughter saw the kitten and she really badly wanted it when he asked our address he said unfortunately you can not have him which broke my daughters heart and he turned round and said to my daughter oooo well you will get over it !!!! which I found disgusting !!!!
We would of given the kitten /cat a lovely family home but because of where we live we wasn't aloud .... so because of where we live awe was refused and it broken my daughters heart
