Oak Manor made my Father's transition a very positive one. The manger and all staff are so friendly and positive. The manager picked a lovely room for him with a specialist bed and plenty of room. The room was made up with all his personal belongings and family photos on the walls prior to his arrival. My Brother and I feel we definitely made the right decision for him. He has blossomed. Thank you so much.

When a family member needed to go in to full time care I was very worried. There was absolutely no need to be so. The staff here are beyond amazing. Always welcoming and remember who you have come to visit. Even after only a month I handed some information over to a member of staff. It was clear from their response they knew her well already. There is always a very warm welcome. I often take my elderly mother with me and she is always offered a drink, a chair, cheesecake (as am I). We often use the dining room to have fish and chips. There is never an issue about opening it up for us and the heating being put on if we need it. My mum is always treated extra kindly when we visit. Can't speak highly enough of the home. Never ever come across an unfriendly member of staff. Keep up the good work.

In the three years my father was at Oak Manor up to his passing I found all the staff to be loving, friendly, compassionate and dedicated to all the residents and could not fault the respect, love and care my father was given, this kindness was extended to me and it became my extended home and family.
I could not have wished for better care for my father and cannot extend my gratitude strongly enough.

My husband unexpectedly has ended up in a nursing home. Have no fears about Oak Manor. After only 4 days I have been in tears twice through the overwhelming, palpable love, respect and dignity shown to my husband. I swear the whole team give him more love and care than I could. They are the most incredible team - it’s one family - they’re like cherries from the same tree. Thank you Team Oak Manor.

I would strongly recommend this care home for your loved ones living with dementia. It don’t matter how fancy a home looks if the staff aren’t well trained and empathetic and loving towards the residents like they are at Oakmanor 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lovely Nursing Home. Occasionally visit as ambulance crew as requested by staff. Always impressed by the care and professionalism of all staff, regardless of role. Residents appear very well looked after and cared for. Feels like a 'home' , which it obviously is for most.
