Middletown Grange is a very warm and welcoming nursing home. The facilities and gardens are well maintained, clean and homely but it is the staff that make Middletown Grange special.
From the very first time we visited, everyone greeted us with a smile and a cheery hello.
The care givers are friendly and attentive. They have taken time to get to know Dad and his likes and needs. They support Dad respectfully and are always there to offer tea and cake when we visit.
May and the nursing team are kind, patient and supportive providing first class medical care.They notice quickly any changes in Dad’s health contacting the GP when they have any concerns. We are always kept informed which is such a relief.
Food is provided by the excellent chef and his team. The chef took time to chat with Dad on his arrival about his likes and dislikes. They genuinely care that Dad is enjoying his food.
We visited Middletown Grange at a time when we were feeling overwhelmed by Dad’s sudden frailty. Thank you everyone for making Dad’s transition into the nursing home as smooth and reassuring as possible.

I want to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Middletown Grange for how kind and caring they have been to my grandmother.
I am happy to know that she is being looked after. The staff have been wonderfully attentive, and have created a real community feeling and make genuine connections with the residents. For someone who was feeling extremely apprehensive to leave her home, I am so grateful that she is feeling settled and happy here.

A heart felt thank you to all the Staff at Middletown Grange . My family visited our mother last weekend to celebrate her " 93" Birthday and we're so greatful for all the effort they had taken to make her feel special ! Beautiful cake and lunch meal, decorations and lots of fuss x

We came up from Plymouth and visited my grandad who recently moved in here, which we thought was a lovely place with friendly staff, they provided us in the quite lounge which we enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal that was presented to us amazingly and tasted Devine. Felt like home from home!

Me and my family spent the weekend of the 20th April celebrating my grandads 103rd birthday. It was the first time I had visited my grandad since his move to Middletown Grange. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble and most importantly my grandad is happy. He is cared for, kept safe and offered lots of opportunities to socialise. Carers went above and beyond, there was 14 of us who had a sit down meal in lovely surroundings. Toby, our meal was lovely and the bread and butter pudding with custard was yummy 😋. Having seen the home and met carers I felt reassured that the decision made as a family to move grandad was definitely the right one.

As a visitor who has come here every week for over a year, I would like to share how beautiful it is. The staff are so caring and attentive, genuinely interested in each and every resident. The Manager is always available to talk to. The grounds are lovely and the interior very well looked after. A happy place to be.
