An interesting and informative afternoon. We parked securely and introduced ourselves. We watched a presentation about the work of the charity, the training of the dogs, the responsibilities of the volunteers. We then were taken around the site, saw dogs being trained and had a demonstration of their skills for helping those who are profoundly deaf. A question and answer session was followed by tea and cake.

Love it hear. We are currently in the process of applying to volunteer to do holiday cover for those training the hearing dogs. We went during a puppy class and everyone couldn't have been more friendly.

Friendly and professional team who are dedicated to training dogs for deaf people to the highest standard. They explained to us what is involved in becoming Bed and Breakfast volunteers and we now look after a trainee hearing dog for four months. It is an absolutely delightful experience.
