Needed some serious advice, so
an appointment.
Met the fantastic Sharon Markham who gave me fantastic advice for going forward with my problem. The great thing was being told to feel free to contact her at any time with questions or problems.
Had a great welcome at reception by a lovely girl who was on training and was dealt with professionally and with a smile on her face.
Would recommend Citizens Advice Bureau to everyone.
Must also put a great word in for Sam at the Plymouth Hub for all his help. Without it I would have been stuck.

impossible to get an appointment as nobody actually answers the telephone. as appointments are only made via telephone, i tried all day and was left on hold until it cuts out every attempt.

Since Trading Standards only deals with certain cases C A only a toothless point of contact which ultimately ends up with take your case to the Small Claims Court .Which the people I've tried to help are in their 80s are VERY reluctant to do. So scan mechants feed from them with little consequence

Two weeks ago I contacted CAB who told me we don't do debt advice try Ongo as you live in an Ongo home on Westcliff.

I do live on Westcliff and neither do I live in a Ongo home.

Why is it when anyone rings CAB they think everyone lives in an Ongo home?

Do you offer debt advice or not?

I do not live in an Ongo home and nor do I live on Westcliff. And was clearly told we don't do debt advise. .

I was on the phone 20 minutes in a que just to be told I wll put you through and no-one answered I was finally told after another 10minutes that I should phone back in half an hour or in the morning. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET AN APPOINTMENT?
