This place is amazing, a little hidden gem. Been to visit the centre a few times. Last week I supported the charity by attending the Expo for Good, this was a well run event with different businesses showcasing what they can do as well as being able to support a local charity. Laura who is the Corporate Fundraiser was my main contact for the Expo and also for the upcoming Christmas Fair this year. Its great to be able to promote my own business as well as supporting a local charity as well. Keep up the good work.

So disappointing on more than 3 occasions I have rang and requested someone to give me a call so I can book an appointment to bring along my young autistic son. Each time I've been told someone will be in contact then I never hear anything. This has been ongoing for months, I give up now. Such a shame because I already feel like there is little to no support and heard such good things about this place.

Was a great place for our severely disabled child for respite , but sadly this is ceasing in November 2023, so if you are fundraising for this cause think carefully where your money is going in the future

I visit the Carers' side of Grace House, so can't comment on the Respite side. The Carers' side is available to all who care for children and young people with complex needs. There are lots of things on offer, from Art Therapy, to counseling and complementary therapies.
Healing Opportunities Sunderland (HOPS) also operate from here and I was at a great Carers' Day, with 2 fascinating workshops and a reiki session.
So much on offer here - get in touch if you might qualify
